The aim of the project is to strengthen young people’s information and media literacy in the context of combating disinformation, particularly regarding climate change. The project harnesses the potential of public libraries as venues that support non-formal education and innovative approaches to working with young people. The concept involves using escape room-style games in media education and inviting young people to help design the games.
The project is being implemented by a partnership comprising: Public Libraries 2030 (Belgium) – leader, the Information Society Development Foundation (Poland), PiNA (Slovenia), Cultuurconnect (Belgium) and the Centre for an Informed Public – University of Washington (USA).
