‘Libraries for the Climate’ is a project through which we want to work with librarians to turn the libraries into hubs of local life. Its main aim is to build strong and crisis-resilient local communities, raise climate awareness and promote the most effective climate-friendly actions..
Climate change is one of the most significant challenges we face in the modern world. We know that the actions we take are of immense importance.
We believe that libraries are extremely important places which play a role not only in providing knowledge and entertainment, but also in fostering social engagement. That is why we want climate-related projects – both educational and those designed to mobilise action – to have a special place within them.
